Matthew Browning

Matt has over eight years of experience in the environmental sector in London, supported by an MSc in Climate Change from King’s College London. He brings expertise in developing programmes and securing funding in senior roles, both locally and internationally. Currently, Matt leads the development of London’s World Health Organization (WHO) Air Quality Roadmap and oversees the Breathe London initiative, alongside managing data and electric vehicle (EV) portfolios within the Air Quality Team. Previously, Matt led Lambeth’s 2017-2022 Air Quality Action Plan, delivered the Lambeth RE:FIT Energy Efficiency Programme, and created the borough’s first Corporate Carbon Reduction Plan. He specializes in implementing and advising on policies and programmes to improve air quality and tackle climate change.
