Anyone who is involved daily in clarification, measurement and analysis technology with standard-compliant routine checks of water quality needs reliable and, above all, economical equipment. It is even better when everything comes from a single source: high-quality test equipment, cost-effective reagents, advanced problem solutions, service and know-how. With the XD7000 VIS and XD7500 UV/VIS spectrophotometers from Lovibond®, anyone who needs laboratory quality for reliable measurement results, also directly on site, gets exactly that – and more.

With barcodes on the cuvette tests, on the reagent packages and in the Lovibond® Handbook of Methods the instrument starts each method automatically. In addition, the XD series has automatic cuvette recognition for the most common cuvette sizes and shapes. Simply place the cuvette test in the measuring shaft: The appropriate test method starts automatically. With the external scanner, the barcodes can also be read directly from the reagent packaging or from the Handbook of Methods. 160 pre-programmed methods are available – also for integration into your own work instructions. The reagents also come directly from Lovibond®, most of them from the company's in-house production. This means: short ordering and service paths, lower acquisition and operating costs.

The high-quality reference beam technology guarantees highest accuracy. The instruments also support the user in analytical quality assurance including Good Laboratory Practice (GLP). Optionally, the complete spectrophotometer can be checked in connection with the method or the interference-free determination of ingredients in the sample. Everything is automatically protocolled. A scheduled quality check is no problem with fixed test intervals. Up to three user levels are possible. User-defined methods can be set up, polynomial data/coefficients can be taken over from other devices and the measurement data can be transferred with a few simple steps.
