Acoem has just completed the acquisition of Met One Instruments. This addition to the Acoem family will undoubtedly enhance considerably their vision of becoming a completely all-inclusive environmental monitoring solutions provider. Not only will Acoem be able to provide the market with cutting-edge instrumentation, but they will also offer in-house services, maintenance capabilities and specialist reporting and data analysis across the globe.

Met One Instruments has been developing state-of-the-art ambient air quality monitoring solutions since 1989. With this acquisition, Acoem now has access to unsurpassed particle measurement technology, enabling greater collaborative opportunities and significant expansion of research and development capabilities.

Acoem are on a mission to shorten the path between environmental monitoring and informed action, and have been creating highly innovative multi-parameter environmental monitoring solutions for almost 50 years. They offer a comprehensive range of integrated measurement technologies and services that ensures precise instrumentation and data. The new acquisition expands Acoem’s customers’ options to take advantage of their comprehensive range of monitoring technologies and affiliated services, covering all environmental applications.

Met One and Acoem already share a goal to improve environmental productivity and regulatory outcomes for governmental agencies, industries, and people across the globe. From day-one, Met One has enjoyed a close and symbiotic relationship with Acoem , whose air quality business was previously called Ecotech. The two organisations have collaborated to create some most respected brands for dust, particulate, and gas monitoring instrumentation in the world respectively.

This merger comes at a time when the planet faces a global pandemic and significant environmental upheavals that have been highlighted at the recent COP26 Conference.
