Specialists in air quality monitoring…and much more at the AQE Virtual Event

When Enviro Technology (ET) was started in 1983, the product range was small and the philosophy simple, “to supply innovative air quality monitoring analysers and offer the very best levels of service and support.” Fast-forward 38 years to 2021 and the company’s founding philosophy remains unchanged, but the product range has expanded and taken the business into many new directions including CEMS, atmospheric chemistry and aerosol research, greenhouse gas and stable isotope measurements and vehicle emissions measurements and mobile laboratories.

Enviro Technology’s Managing Director, Duncan Mounsor comments “our air quality monitoring stations and MCERTS approved ambient gas and particulate analysers for NOx, SO2, CO, O3, PM10 and PM2.5 are used primarily on the UK’s national networks and by many local authorities, and it is this business that we are most well-known for. However, over the last ten years, our carefully chosen range of next generation monitoring technology has brought us to the attention of many of the UK’s leading research universities and institutes who are using our instruments for all manner of leading research into; agricultural emissions, carbon and greenhouse gas cycling, atmospheric remote sensing and particulate matter composition and characterisation”.

Duncan concludes “whilst very much still specialising in air quality monitoring, our instrument expertise and a continual awareness of customer wants and needs over the last four decades has moved us into many exciting new sectors, all with one thing in common: the need for high quality instruments and superior service and support. And these are all watch-words for ET”.

At the Air Quality and Emissions Show (AQE) Virtual Event on the 13th and 14th of October, ET are launching a brand-new range of CEMS and ambient analysers from the world leading analyser manufacture, Teledyne-API. The new N-Series builds upon, and takes over from the T-Series, which have enjoyed sales of tens of thousands of units over the last decade and can be found on every continent.

N-Series instruments combine sophisticated CAN BUS technology with maintenance friendly design, guaranteeing simple operation and integration. Using the latest electronics and the powerful, innovative NumaView on-board software, N-Series analysers are both ‘future-proof’ and packed with user benefits.

And with the IPPC recently issuing the Code Red warning re: climate change, ET are also showcasing some of their wide range of greenhouse gas analysers from ABB Los Gatos Research for the measurement of CH4, CO2 and N2O.
