Proam Ammonia Analyser Succeeds In China
Jul 08 2011
Pollution and Process Monitoring (UK) has made strident steps into duplicating their domestic success overseas especially in Chinese market.
Their Chinese agent - Shanghai Source Instrumentation Company with representation across China, has invested considerable time and effort to raise the profile of the Proam ammonia monitor.
The on-line instrument which continuously reports the ammonia content of a water or waste-water sample, has been tested by local Agencies, gaining Chinese Pattern approval and CCAEPI certification.
This local certification backed by a strong technical knowledge has provided the Chinese Agencies with the confidence to extensively invest in the UK analyser technology.
The instrument design accommodates both water and waste-water monitoring and is further supported by a simple but innovative sample preparation system for use where sample conditions are very challenging.
Since the design incorporates automatic calibration with diagnostic communication to telemetry, self validated measurement suits the unattended style of installation. The automatic cleaning also further supports reliable operation.
Predominantly, the Proam ammonia analyser has been installed to provide continuous discharge monitoring at municipal effluent treatment plants such as across the Shandong Province. Additionally, a complex and integrated river monitoring system includes many Proam ammonia analysers within the Henan Province; which with a population of 97 million, is the most populated region within China.
