Xylem Analytics (UK), the manufacturer of market leading instrumentation brands such as YSI, SonTek, Aanderaa, MJK and WTW, will unveil a new SonTek Acoustic Doppler Flow Meter at WWEM 2014 (www.wwem.uk.com ).

Located on WWEM stands 104 & 105 at the Telford International Centre on 5th and 6th November, the company will unveil the new SonTek SL 3G for measuring water velocity and level in open channels. The 3G (3rd Generation) models employ SmartPulseHD technology, which continuously tracks water velocity and profiling range, depth, turbulence factors and signal-to-noise ratio, and automatically selects the optimum processing configuration to maintain high levels of accuracy.

Designed specifically for side mounting on bridges, canal walls, or riverbanks, these ‘side-looking’ instruments have a sleek, low-profile housing that simplifies installation. With three models to choose from, the SL can be used in an enormous range of channel widths.

Specialists from the company’s flow, velocity and level monitoring team will be on hand to explain the advantages of the new technology and to discuss the best monitoring solution for every visitor’s application.
