IFAT commenced its journey in 1966 in Munich, Germany, and has since evolved into the preeminent global exhibition for environmental technologies. Presently, there are over 8 IFAT events worldwide, encompassing a total of 11 leading initiatives in its portfolio. This global presence attracts visitors from more than 155 countries and exhibitors from over 59 nationalities. In 2024, the world's largest environmental technology network expanded its scope by introducing IFAT Brasil, aiming to tap into the environmental technology market in Latin America. The IFAT Brasil Congress plays a significant role in fostering technological exchange and professional development, underscoring the importance of the environmental technology market and businesses in Brazil and across the globe.
