Company Profile for Teledyne Judson Technologies
Teledyne Judson Technologies is a world leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance infrared sensors. Our sensors have been integral to some of the most prestigious and challenging scientific space missions, including the James Webb Space Telescope and the Mars Rover, showcasing their superior performance and reliability. Since 1969, Teledyne Judson’s sensors have been aiding OEMs and researchers in solving complex problems across the infrared spectrum.
Teledyne Judson Technologies offers a complete line of products for sensing from the visible to the long wave infrared (LWIR) of the light spectrum, producing detectors, arrays, and cameras that help with discovery and address today's pressing challenges.
Our high-performance single-element IR detectors are made from a variety of materials, including Indium Gallium Arsenide (InGaAs), Mercury Cadmium Telluride (HgCdTe), Indium Antimonide (InSb), and Indium Arsenide (InAs). These detectors are available with room temperature, thermoelectric (TE) coolers, and cryogenic Dewars. Our product portfolio also includes two-dimensional focal plane arrays (FPAs) and cameras with materials such as InGaAs, InSb, and MCT, as well as Integrated Dewar Cooler Assemblies (IDCAs), which complement our range of single-element infrared detectors.
We have been designing specialty sensors for over 50 years, enabling technologies for international space programs, aerospace and defense, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, and biomedical imaging and research.
Teledyne Judson Technologies’ product lines include:
- Single Element Infrared Detectors
- Linear IR Arrays
- Two-dimensional Infrared Focal Plan Arrays (FPAs)
- Dewar-based, TE/Peltier and closed cycle cooling, (e.g., pulse-tube cryocooler)
- Custom sensors for OEMs
