Horiba LAQUAtwin pocket meters
Jul 26 2016
Horiba Instruments first introduced the flat-glass sensor in 1987 with the launch of the CARDY twin meters. A significant advantage of the flat-glass sensor is in the sample-volume requirements. The flat-glass sensor only requires 10 to 15 ul of sample to take measurements. Precious samples are not wasted and big savings on calibration standards too.
Subsequent to the highly successful CARDY twin meters,Horiba launched the LAQUAtwin in 1990, and the current generation since 2012.
The LAQUAtwin series are presently available for measuring pH, EC/ TDS,Sodium, Potassium, Nitrate and Calcium ion concentrations as well as Salinity.
They continue to feature the flat-glass sensor technology.
In addition to the ultra-low sample volume requirements, they also offer a variety of sampling techniques which relates to the myriad of applications in which they can be used.
