Six months ahead of OS+H Asia, organised by Messe Düsseldorf Asia (Singapore), the region’s leading occupational safety and health exhibition expects a strong attendance from more than 5,000 international trade visitors and an impressive line-up of about 150 international exhibitors with an estimated 40% based in Singaporean. The 8th Occupational Safety + Health Exhibition for Asia comes on the back of the recent launch of the workplace safety and health act in September last year. This initiative is an essential part of the new framework to cultivate good safety habits and inculcate a strong safety culture in the workplace.

OS+H Asia 2012 will once again collaborate with two major events for workplace safety and health (WSH).

The second Singapore WSH Conference 2012, organised by the WSH Council, Ministry of Manpower and WSH Institute, will be held on 12 and 13 September. The Conference, with the theme “Changing Landscapes, Shaping a Progressive WSH Culture”, will bring together CEOs, senior government officials and WSH professionals to discuss topics, such as:

WSH: Important for business sustainability? WSH Professionals: Operational or strategic? How to leverage on partnership for WSH? How to shape a progressive WSH culture? Enforcement vs. ownership: A balancing act? An ageing workforce: Challenging or opportunity?
