Maximum ease of use: the MAGIO series

Julabo is broadening its range of top-of-the-line bridge mounted circulators, refrigerated and heating circulators with the MAGIO series, which maintains the company's standard of superior quality. These circulators have a working temperature range of -50°C to +300°C and can heat up to 3 kW. Their exceptional heating and cooling capabilities ensure quick heat-up and cool-down times.

The MAGIO series boasts an exceptionally potent pressure/suction pump that can deliver up to 31 l/min or 0.92 bar (pressure) and -0.4 bar (suction), making it the strongest pump in its category. This feature makes it an ideal choice for handling demanding external temperature requirements. Additionally, all the wetted parts are composed of stainless steel to provide excellent chemical resistance.

The modern interfaces of the MAGIO units enable effortless remote control, convenient data management, and seamless integration into process structures. These units come with an integrated Pt100 connection, USB interface, RS232, and Ethernet, with optional analogue interfaces available as accessories. Customers can also request the addition of the OPC UA communication interface to any MAGIO series refrigerated and heating circulators.

OPC UA communication interface for temperature control technology

OPC UA is an abbreviation for 'Open Platform Communications Unified Architecture‘, a standardised communication protocol for machine-to-machine (M2M) or machine-to-higher-level system communication. As an open interface standard, it is not limited by machine or application manufacturer and is considered one of the key communication standards for Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things (IoT).

To facilitate communication between different units, ‘companion specifications‘ are continuously developed and released for various types of equipment. These specifications ensure the standardisation of data exchange within an industry, such as laboratory devices, making all information available in the same format across different manufacturers and units. The OPC Foundation, along with various professional associations, such as SPECTARIS, for optics, photonics, analysis, and medical technology, and machine manufacturers collaborate to create these specifications.
