Geotech joins Asia Pacific Biogas Alliance
May 10 2018
Geotech, one of the leading worldwide manufacturers and providers of gas analysis technology, recently joined the Asia Pacific Biogas Alliance (APBA) as part of its continued strategic investment in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
Founded in 2015, the APBA is comprised of government representatives from countries within the APAC region in addition to industry representatives. Together, the alliance aims to promote the sustainable growth and development of the biogas industry in the region and provides a platform for members to discuss ideas and methods to drive the industry forward. The alliance focuses on three main areas including government policies, end-user education in commerciality and end-user education in safety.
Paul Gooch, Global Sales and Marketing Director from Geotech said: “The APAC region continues to be a key focus for us and we have always been positive about the potential for development in biogas within the area. We are very excited to be a part of a prestigious platform and I am confident that together with the other brilliant minds within the alliance, we will continue to create a safe and successful market while also driving biomethane as an intrinsic part of our energy future.”
Geotech’s commitment to the region has also been noted as they recently appointed Jesse Yu as its Territory Manager for the Asia Pacific region. With a wealth of experience and valuable know-how in the water treatment and biogas sectors, Jesse is expected to support the company’s ambitious growth plans in the region.
