Reliable and continuous gas sampling in cement kilns

The highly robust CEMTEC® gas sampling probe system was designed and manufactured by ENOTEC in Germany for continuous flue gas analysis in extreme environments with high temperatures and levels of dust, such as cement plant rotary kiln inlets and lime plants. CEMTEC practically measures 24/7 for continuous combustion and process control which enables improved product quality and leads to fuel and emissions reduction.
Due to the ever increasing use of alternative fuels (RDF) in rotary kilns, reliable and continuous gas analysis is a necessity. Across the globe, stringent NOx abatement levels in cement plants require effective SNCR which can be controlled and optimized with continuous process measurement.
These tough applications involve process temperatures as high as 1400°C with dust concentrations of up to 2000 g/m³, intense mechanical stress and ambient temperatures of 50°C all of which puts a significant strain on the equipment. Delivering dust-free sample gas, ENOTEC’s proven and unique technology enables operators to have an optimal solution for continuous and accurate measurement in extremely tough environments.
In addition, CEMTEC® has a maintenance cycle of only once per year. This self-cleaning and powerful instrument offers 95% availability of measurement during operation.
