Company Profile for GfG - Gesellschaft für Gerätebau mbh
For more than 60 years, we have been developing and manufacturing "smart GasDetection Technologies". We haven't always called it like that but what drives us hasn't changed over the years: Protecting people, plants and the environment from the hazards that gases can pose.
It has paid off that we have concentrated on our core competence right from the start. Today, GfG is the world's leading owner-managed company for gas detection systems and gas measuring instruments. Being present internationally with 4 production sites and 10 sales offices worldwide, we are able to maintain close contact with our sales partners and customers. Their information is then used to develop new products and improve existing ones. We invest approximately 13 % of our annual sales in research and development of new devices and sensors.
However, we don't just want to build the best gas detection systems. We want our devices to be sustainable and economical as well. That' s why, for example, we refrain from developing disposable solutions and look for concepts to make high-quality gas detectors affordable for everyone.
