The device from Siemens (Canada) is designed for applications that involve robust requirements and rely on fault-resistant measuring components, for example in the oil-refining industry, petrochemicals, power station systems or waste water purification plants. Sitrans FUS060 is ATEXcertified and disposes a Hart interface. The ultrasound
device can be operated both two and four-jetly. In the fourjet mode the precision of the device improves. It enlarged the Siemens technology already being used in this area in that it enables turndown behavior of 10:1 while simultaneously meeting industrial needs for exactness and
repeatability. On top of this, Sitrans FUS060 complies with OIML R117 standards and is suitable for all applications involving measurements that require calibration.
