Simply Flexible Compact Photometer PF-12

The PF-12 from MACHEREY-NAGEL is an easy to operate compact photometer with a clear and convenient user guidance.

The PF-12 impresses with modern design and precise analytics. It is adapted to our customers’ current and future needs, making it highly suitable for universal use in water and wastewater analysis. The application range for the PF-12 includes municipal and industrial wastewater, drinking water, surface water, ground water as well as cooling and boiler water.

The PF-12 can be used for both the determination of VISOCOLOR® ECO and NANOCOLOR® tube tests.

The modern, backlit display shows all relevant information such as date, time, sample number, place and dilution. The display lighting can be set to multiple different intensity levels, thus permitting an optimal adjustment to outside light conditions at any time.

Due to the intuitive menu navigation, operating the PF-12 is fast and easy. As soon as a test number is selected, the wavelength is adjusted automatically. Once the measurement has been performed all results are stored automatically as well without any additional work. The configuration menu allows to turn the memory administration on or off according to the users’ needs.

The PF-12 features a USB 2.0 port which enables updates with new tests and methods via PC/Internet in no time.

Additionally, the USB port is designed to serve as the photometer’s flexible power supply. The PF-12 can be operated directly via PC with a USB cable. Moreover, power can be supplied from a normal outlet or a car’s 12 V outlet with the respective adaptors. Of course, the PF-12 can also run on batteries and rechargeable batteries.

The PF-12 already includes over 100 preprogrammed test methods for extensive water analysis. Results are always saved in accordance to GLP and can be uploaded easily and conveniently to a PC with the NANOCOLOR® data export software. Once saved to a PC, the results can be evaluated with standard software.

In addition, the PF-12 features a wide variety of supplemental photometric basic functions such as absorbance, transmission, factor and standard measurement. Moreover, 10 user-defined methods can be programmed individually.

Delivery of the compact photometer PF-12 includes software DVD, manual and analytical accessories. All items come in a rugged and robust case.
