Around 3,000 properties in Northern Ireland have seen their drinking water quality adversely affected this week.
Bosses at Northern Ireland Water have urged residents in the Ballymoney area to boil tap water before consuming it.
People living on Ballymena Road, Finvoy, Balnamore, Bendooragh and Bann Road are said to have been impacted following work on water mains in the region. Bottled water was sent out to the properties on Wednesday (November 8th).
Customers can access the board's website to find out which specific houses are receiving substandard water.
"Further operational work will continue, along with testing, until samples have returned to normal; customers will be notified by card when water quality returns to normal," a spokesperson for the organisation stated.
The firm has also confirmed that work to repair a water main in the Greenhill area of Ballymena in County Antrim has now been completed and no disruption was caused to customers' supplies.
