The Industry Proven Leak Detection Sensor that Saves Time & Money

Jul 08 2015

Thousands of applications are at risk of fluid ingress, putting critical electronic equipment and end users’ service at risk. Peristaltic pumping equipment, printer heads, oil or bilge pumps, server rooms or telecommunications cabinets are just some examples of the applications where leaks can be of detrimental effect. Replacing or mending faulty equipment due to fluid damage in locations that are difficult to access involves time and money.

An industry proven solution to these problems is to install an SST (UK) low cost leak sensor to detect the presence of fluid in your application. Providing security and product confidence-positively contributing towards insurance premiums.

The sensitivity of these sensors means that it only takes a very small amount of contact with liquid to trigger the alarm. This catches the problem in critically early stages before expensive damage and service interruption occurs.

The diagram above is an application example with the sensor mounted into a sump of a telecoms cabinet. As illustrated the sensor sits at the bottom of the sump in order to accurately and instantly detect rainwater fluid ingress.

The range is vast, various housing styles, thread types and sizes are available to choose from. The leak detection sensors can offer long term reliability as they are solid state with no moving parts. They consume low power and are compact meaning they are ideal for applications with limited space. If our standard range of sensors do not match your technical specifications, our technical experts can work with you to design a sensor that meets your financial and technical requirements.
