Analytical Technology continues to lead the way for service and quality

Oct 08 2014

Specialist electrochemical sensor manufacturer Analytical Technology has expanded its award winning team, as part of its ongoing commitment to providing industry leading products and services.

As the business goes from strength to strength, ATi has introduced new roles within the team to strengthen and maintain its existing high standards of business and customer service.

Ian Mewett, ATi’s newly appointed Service and Project Manager, is responsible for further improving ATi’s already award winning service. In addition to managing the service function of the company by continuing to build on ATi’s high standards, Ian will also manage company projects, instrumentation drawings and installations. Ian brings to Analytical Technology over 25 years experience in the industry, previously working for Yorkshire Water and the RAF.

David Lyons joins the company as Quality, Health and Safety and Document Control Coordinator.  With 25 years experience in Quality Assurance and Customer Service, David is responsible for building on ATi’s existing high standards of the Quality (QSM) and Health & Safety systems; maintaining and seeking improvements of the systems; and upholding ATi’s present accreditation approvals.  Based on site in the company’s head office in Saddleworth, David’s role also encompasses managing Quality and Health and Safety Systems, conducting multi-discipline second party audits and tracking ATi’s environmental impact.

The growing success of Analytical Technology can largely be attributed to the high standard of customer service delivered by the company, awarded for the Best After-Sales Service award from the IUG (Instrument User Group) in November 2012, along with its industry leading products.

Analytical Technology is a UK and European manufacturer, providing a range of toxic gas detectors and water monitors, including residual chlorine, peracetic acid, hydrogen peroxide, residual sulphite and ozone.  The UK and Europe headquarters are based in Saddleworth, near Manchester, and has enjoyed increasing success since it opened its doors in 1998, now supplying water monitoring instrumentation to 10 out of the 12 of major utility companies in the UK and all of the councils in Ireland.  In addition to this, Analytical Technology provides gas and water monitors to many food and beverage, industrial and pharmaceutical companies.

Dr Michael Strahand, General Manager Europe at Analytical Technology, said: “ATi has always taken pride in providing our valued customers with top quality products and service.  Our team members are our most important asset and welcoming Ian and David into their new roles demonstrates our dedication to building on our award winning service.

“As we continue to grow as the leading supplier of water monitoring instrumentation to the UK’s utility industry, ATi’s growing team will continue to provide award winning customer support, efficient and cost effective products and decades of industry experience. We provide the highest quality monitoring solutions available, allowing our customers to ensure a safe, efficient and healthy environment.”
