The Moroccan Ministry of the Environment recently purchased one of Environment S.A’s (France) fully equipped mobile Continuous Emission Monitoring System for the continuous measurement of SO2-HCl-HF-CO-CO2-O2 (MIR-IS analyser)- flow rate, temperature and pressure + NO-NO2 (TOPAZE32M analyser) + total VOC (GRAPHITE52M analyser) and the WEX supervising software.

The mobile CEMS van, which has already been already delivered to the end user, will soon begin measuring industrial "on stack" emissions (Principal stationary pollution sources). It will be connected via heated sampling lines to the industrial stacks (one stack at time, during a defined period of time).

This mobile CEMS laboratory will complete the existing ambient air monitoring stations ( also from Environnement S.A ) and will be used by the National Laboratory of Studies and Monitoring of the Air Quality. This project was financed by the International Cooperation Office of the Monegasque Government.
