Air Monitoring
New Remote Air Quality Monitor
Aug 03 2015
Atmospheric Sensors (UK) are pleased to announce that their Model 510 Remote Air Quality Monitor is now deployed in 5 European countries, where the units are providing 24 hour monitoring of polluting gases and particles, together with information on ambient noise and measurement of temperature and relative humidity. A GPS module is used to provide location information and an accurate timestamp. The Model 510 stores measured data on a local, non-volatile, file system and uses an automated FTP link on the widely-available GPRS network to transmit data to a central monitoring station.
The Model 510 can be ordered in a range of specifications to suit different customers’ requirements. Four electrochemical gas sensors can be selected from a range in order to provide responses to different gases. Typical choices are NO2, NO, CO, O3, SO2 and H2S. Please contact Atmospheric Sensors for other gases. Optional fitments include a CO2 NDIR sensor, a laser optical particle counter and a PID to monitor volatile organic compounds.
The unit is supplied in a weather-resistant case and an optional sun and rain screen will be available at a later date. The unit generally runs off mains electricity as a fixed installation, but other options can be discussed.
Atmospheric Sensors produce a range of innovative atmospheric and laboratory instrumentation ranging from high-capability, wearable atmospheric monitors to advanced semiconducting metal oxide gas sensor management systems.
