New Flowmeter Meets Mandatory Requirements

Flow meters that can measure flammable gases are becoming mandatory, due to the increased use of hydrogen in chromatography. The new Restek ProFLOW 6000 Flowmeter is ideal for this purpose, being designed specifically with explosive and flammable gases in mind.

Because of its wide range of capabilities, this is the only flow meter you need for any type of chromatography gas measurement. It is an electronic device capable of measuring bidirectional volumetric flow for most gases across a range of 0.5-500 mL/min.

For reliability, calibration is traceable to NIST primary standards and the CE certified meter has accuracy of +/- 2% of flow or +/- 0.05mL/min. Real-time measurements can be made for various types of flow paths,
including continually changing gas types. Safety features include auto shutoff and over range warning indicator. This portable unit is ergonomically designed for hand-held use, or its stand makes it suitable for the bench-top.

Backed by a 1-year warranty, it sets an industry standard for performance and affordability in hand-held flowmeters.

With 20 years experience in the industry, Thames Restek provides an unrivalled range of quality chromatography equipment and accessories from key manufacturers including the US Restek Corporation as well as Parker Balston, Valco and Hamilton. The company prides itself on its ability to react quickly to customers’ requirements and the extensive technical knowledge of its team.
