Ecotech expands its presence Central Asia

Ecotech, an Australian manufacturer of air quality monitoring technology, has expanded its operations into Central Asia growing from its success in the Middle East and Sub Continent region. Ecotech distributor for Central Asia, “TOO Distrilab”, have recently signed a contract to supply five on-line air quality monitoring systems at Atyrau Oil Refinery in Kazakhstan to monitor gasses such as H2S, SO2, NOX/NO/NO2, CO, Hydrocarbons and meteorological parameters.

“TOO Distrilab” a well known supplier of quality equipment throughout the Central Asian market have signed an agreement with Ecotech to be its preferred supplier throughout the Central Asian market (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkistan, and Kyrgyzstan). TOO Distrilab (in partnership with Ecotech) will provide expert guidance on clients monitoring needs and quality after sales service.

The agreement between Ecotech & Distrilab was finalised by Manoj Kumar – International Business manager of Ecotech and Arman Tukin – Managing Director of Distrilab in Jan 2009 at Almaty.

“Ecotech and Distrilab will work together to provide turn key air monitoring stations and a variety of total air monitoring solutions to the Mining, Oil, Gas, Petrochemical and Cement industries. Ecotech will continue to grow its presence in these region through its supply of air quality monitoring instruments such as Particulate samplers (Dust Samplers, Nephelometers), VOC’s monitors, Gas Analyzers along with Data reporting and instrument maintenance services,” explained Mr Kumar.
